    reset inspection light

    Hi,
I have tried searching the forum, but cannotfind how to rest the inspection light on a polo gti.
When searching on google, they suggest holding in the trip reset for 10 sec's, and then starting engine...that did not work.
    Any suggestions.

I always just use Vagcom - then you can tell it when to come back on in the future to help you remember your service intervals - especially helpful if you like to change your oil regularly. So yeah I've never done it the manual way

Are you getting the car serviced on time? If you're doing the services yourself, you can change the service intervals too via VCDS.
