Hows it going all you Gti Owners with rims.

It seems hard to fit a centre cap to the rear (rims)wheels on my gti
i have lenso type M s and the hub locating ring goes on
but the rear hub hats seem to protrude further out than the front ones
so i cant get the centre cab thingo on?
Is it just the 05/06 polo Gti with long rear hub or something?
