    Removing passenger seat

The Polo is no longer my daily, so looking to make it into a full time hillclimb car. Keen to remove the passenger seat. What do I need to know/do, especially regarding airbags?

my fit up starts from about here I think. Basically when you remove the seat you have to unplug the plugs. The two wire plug is only on the drivers side and is the seat belt alarm. The three wire unplugs and then you can cut off the receiver on the seat side leaving some wire length, solder onto the correct wires the resister value you need to bridge out the airbag, and then plug that plug back in and tie the loom out of the way. The correct vale is in the thread and has worked for me - think I initially got an interwebs bum steer and then Hayden set me straight. Still road reg or trailer car?
