its a bit of a pain mate without removing the bar, i damaged mine when i removed them. but u can get a flat head screw driver and there are some clips to push up to removie it.
G'day all,
Quick question with hopefully a quick answer...
I'm trying to find out how to remove the passenger's side fog light trim on the Polo GTI. On another thread here people were discussing replacing the lower trim with a mesh, and I've got a couple other thoughts I wanted to try, but for the life of my I can't find out how to remove the trim on that side.
Obviously the driver's side trim is easy - remove the screw and pull the trim - as that's where the towing eye is secured.
I can't see any screws holding the passenger side trim in however?
Any suggestions from someone who has been there done that?

Thanks for that - I had the car up on the ramps last night and tried to find an easy way other than by taking off the bottom plastic lip under the bumber (I assume that's what you refer to as the 'bar'), but couldn't get to those clips.
I might try with a screwdriver tonight and see how I go.

james i mean the whole bar not just the undertray especially for that middle section
There are no screws on the other side, just yank it out. I've done it a few times now and it doesn't do any damage.
