    Hello my name is Luke from England

    From a place called Huddersfield if anyone knows where it is .

    Anyway I have had my polo Gti 1.8t 20v for almost 3 years now

    My current mods are :

    Revo stage 1 map

    Milltek decat down pipe

    Straight through stainless exhaust

    Forge 007p DV

    K&N cone filter in airbox with cold air feed

    Whiteline read anti roll bar

    Ap coilovers

    LCR splitter

    Honey comb grills

    HID Light kit

    Black 16" monza wheels



    In waiting I have a k04 turbo + manifold

    S3 injectors 3 " maf 3 " tip and a 3 " custom down pipe (don't know if down pipe is needed to be fair )

    I will be getting the car custom mapped

    But lately been looking at going down the hybrid route of ko3 k280. So I can safely run the car on stock internals and not worry as much about the Rods bending


    Has anyone ever used methanol water injection ?

    Also if anyone had any idea about what infer cooler would be best for power such as 300+ would be good for any input and advice

    Hey mate welcome! I've been following your purchase on uk polo! Nice work with the car so far bud. As for your question the I've see the forge fmic handle 500whp on a polo tuned by bill at badger 5! Only problem with the forge is the big pressure drop which is why a lot of us run the seat sport core with better results. And the THS version is meant to be even better. As for the turbo the k04 isn't seen as much of an upgrade these days compared to the better flowing hybrids out there. Either way if you're getting a custom tune you may not needs rods but a good idea regardless. I can personally recommend Custom Code for the tune. Best luck and keep us posted!

    Ah okay I am leaning more towards the hybrid now anyway the ko4 was a impulse buy . Could do with selling it

    A problem has occurred today my abs traction and tyre pressure light has come on. Replaced the abs sensor and hooked it up to the machine. No luck so far checked the plug and found a wire snapped. Changed the plug and still no luck. Maybe thinking now it is the abs module.
