R32 recaros in polo gti?

Hey guys does anyone happen to know if the mkV R32 optional recaro race seats would fit in a polo gti?

It's quite wide already on MK5s, wont fit in Polos - I don't think the doors will shut.

Also the recaro's don't have side airbags from memory so that may cause problems with your insurer etc.

He was selling them, sorry cant remember who it was, but they are not cheap, but looked wicked

Damnit I can't stop thinking about it. Devil on right shoulder is saying 'do it man...its gonna look sick' whereas the little angel on the left side is saying 'don't do it...think about it before you spend too much money again and get in trouble with the missus'. *Sigh* Come on Tattslotto...make mine a winning ticket so I can stick it to the little angel.
