let me know how it went!
but remind you, it does give alot more grip from the line and if you practice a bit you will go a bit faster from 0-60 as before.
but you have to find the right pressure youreself because 1.8bar is pretty low and only good for short dragraces.
it also depends from tyre to tyre..
on a 1/4 mile i think you'll be better of with keeping it on 2.0 bar or so.
because once youre on the move, the car will go slower because the tires are flatter.
but thats for you to find out.
with my Dunlop SP sportmaxx i keep it on 2.0bar for 1/4 mile.
so my 0-60 is still pretty good, about 6.4sec, and in acceleration it will contain good speed also, i made it to 15.0XX sec
and i realy want to know youre result!

    about my lowering kit,
i have adjustable suspension, KW Variant 1

From what you said, it is stock, but i saw there is something different then what I or other had in the engine bay (which pointed in red arrow) would you mind to tell me what that is? i'm pretty interesting on it by the way you did a really good job mate! i can't imagine my car could go that fast!

    thanks for comments man!

you don't have it on your cars??? strange!!
    it was stock on mine...
i don't know how it's called in english,
but i'll try and define you what it does...

i'ts a tube that is mounted on the trotlle body hose,
it will take the sound from that tube and bring it inside of the car so you have a sporty "growl" inside of the car.
it's pretty loud when you go full trotlle!
all fine and also nice to hear, BUT!
    it's a useless piece of ****!
because, when i'm going to chiptune the car that thing will go away.
when i do that the car will have alot better gas response and it will accelerate a little better also.
it does that because it takes air away from your intercooler cirquit i quess? so the volume of air is now a bit more then when it's away.
can remove it now, but i'll do it when it's getting his program, i'll do it all at the same time then.
and if i have to shoose between sound or better acceleration and gas response, i'll know what i have to choose

but i find it wierd you guys don't have it in youre cars

The Australian Polo GTI never got that extra piece of sound creating bit of intake.

It appears that most other countries do have it including one member on here from New Caledonia.

It'll be interesting to see what 0-100 you get after it's chipped.

    Any idea?

Doesn't the golf (Mark V or is the new VI) have something like that so that the car engine sound makes it into the "quiet" cabin ?

it's the same as in the shadow bleu GTi posted above.
and i don't know if a Golf V and VI have it...? could be.
i know how it's called in dutch, but not in english
but believe me, it's better that the useless tube stays out of any GTI...

    0-60 after it's chiptuned?
my goal is 230Hp and 350nM, but the torque has got to be a clean straight line on dyno output, otherwise it will be to agressive and my 0-60 could get worse
but i'm planning to go under the 6sec with street tyres, anything in the 5.x will be fine...
and i probably manage that so my goal is to do 5.5 with semi slicks.
