    Hey there

Bingle has a nice website/quote system, but the price isn't much different

    $1017.56 for 12months comprehensive cover
    $1100 Excess...
    Insured value $14,000
Same driver details as before ~ 23, no accidents/claims ever

    Any other suggestions?

With ant mods, many companies become uninterested. My shannons quote was obscene.

I should mention my Shannons quote was for a mod-less GTI.

In my experience, wou will be very lucky if it drops below $670.... I was expecting it too drop when I turned 25 but alas the new turbo price drop window seems to begin at 30 years of age.

I am with NRMA and they are quite good pricewise and offer unlimited mods provided that they are legal

Should also mention that I have no fines on history plus no at fault accidents

Doesnt suprise me, I had to tell myself there was some benefit to turning 25 other than being half way to 50 lol

RACV is the vic equivelant to NRMA, will see how i go in a couple of months and get some quotes, Funny thing with RACV is their premium goes up each year for no reason and you can usually do better looking elsewhere.

    NRMA looks reasonable
It took me 2 minutes to get a quote and only had to answer like 5-10 questions

here are the details i was quoted

    Cost per annum $663
    agreed value $14,000
    excess $800 base - +$400 for being under 25.. $1200 TOTAL

not too bad premium per annum compared to the others i've seen so far
the excess is a bit much at $1200 but yea its cheaper than the rest so far?

Glad you're over 30? Haha I'm just waiting for when I'm off my Ps. Just car and another I don't remember were the only company to allow me as the primary/only driver and they were cheapest at $1700 with $2000 excess.. Gah male P plater with turbo. Cheaper to buy a new car if I crash haha
