I have not yet decided if we will sell it as a gauge kit or just the holder.
Awesome news Tim . Let us know once everything is finalized (I'd probably be interested in the holder only). Will be good to know prices for both options though.

Why would you want to give up an air-con vent to have a gauge you're rarely going to look at?

Yeah Tim Let us know when you get it.

I would prefer just the holder without the gauge. Thanks

Because that vent is useless anyway, the output is weak-as and at the moment i've closed it off and mounted the phone-holder there. Better off channelling the air out of the central vents.

I currently run a gauge in a little pod and love to look at the needle move around as you climb on the boost ....

Its been a great help in fine tuning the Forge diverter I have as well. Been able to change boost from 0.9bar sustained to just over 1.0bar sustained by playing with the spring inside the diverter.

Makes a noticable difference in performance throughout the rev range .....

Hmmm from looking at the install guide in the UK forum, the holder appears to be a solidly moulded piece in the shape of the slats, but has no slots between the slats, unlike the ones for the other VW models, also I'm sure the guy who did the install said the back of the mechanical NewSouth gauge would rest against the flap, holding the vent closed. But that obviously depends on the type of gauge used, an electronic guage is shorter and should still allow the flap to open (even though no air could pass through the holder).

the vents are a closed as it was easier to manufacture that way. however the top vents that direct air towards the window remain the same.
