Polo TDi & GTi Exhaust Group Buy

Okay guys through one of my contacts in the industry we have managed to get a fairly good price on a turbo back exhaust system for the Polo TDi, they could do the GTi as well but I would prefer it if we could get someone to pop into their workshop just so we can confirm it would be the same price.

The exhaust will be 2.5" with dump, cat and muffler included. You have a choice of mild steel or stainless, mild steel is more prone to rusting but I think gives off a nicer exhaust note but also weighs more. Stainless won't rust however due to the different material it does have a different exhaust note and it also costs more.

We need 5 people to go ahead with this.

Pricing:

Mild Steel: $900, usually they would charge $1,100.
Stainless: $1,250, they would usually charge $1,500 plus.

Postage is available anywhere in Australia/overseas but it will be at the buyers expense. Pick up is also available. Should be able to organise fitting if the car is near the workshop at a good rate.

If anyone wants 3" we can certainly accomodate that but there will be an extra charge just to cover the cost of the material.

I'm not sure if it's available, but would imagine a fair few GTI owners may likely be interested in a dump-pipe only option if you have that available.

Might be worth a thought.

Certainly is an option would just need someone willing to come up to get a quote for the work. If there is anyone in the logan/ipswich/brisbane area that wouldn't mind helping out let me know.

Will be $80 off the price without the muffler on mild steel and $180 off the price of the muffler in stainless.

I'd be interested in a GTI version shipped to Sydney.

Don't worry about it yet, I'll wait to see if someone volunteers for the local comparison and see if anyone else in Syd wants one so we can consolidate shipping.

Not sure if I would get the whole exhaust, i'll keep and eye on this...

i'd do the mild steel exhaust WITHOUT the muffler (cos the TDI really doesn't need it), but unfortunately for me, I never have that kind of cash lying around

having said that. how much for just the dump pipe?
