    sorry for bringing up an old thread, but today I was preping my polo gti wheels for sale and noticed the offset on the rim was 38. I thought it was 43?

    What year is your build? I know in the UK some are 38 offset as well. mine are ET43, the car is an early 06 build

    Well if your wheels are stamped an ET of 38mm so it is then, what that means is the wheels will be out wider by 5mm on each side & in my opinion is great.
