Polo rear hatch struts - where to buy?

Has anyone replaced their hatch struts yet? Mine are starting to struggle as the weather gets cooler, and its no fun holding the hatch open with my head

Is there anywhere to buy them online, or are the stealers my only option?

I have done some Ebay searching, and come up empty handed.

    Cheers

IIRC Oriental Parts had those listed.

Mind you, the last time I tried to purchase a product from them they said they didn't have it in stock and most likely wouldn't for a long time (locknuts).

    Best of luck to you!

I know some of the MK4/Bora bonnet ones fit, as I have them on my hatch, i took a chance ordering some as they were the same size and bingo, they fitted.

There are also places that recharge them like - Struts.com.au - Gas Struts - Repairs and Re-gassing

    Both in Melbourne
