decided to sell my 06 polo gti, as murphys law will have it everything started breaking
was wondering if anyone else has had to replace the rear lower control arm engine mounts????? my car has done less than 75 000kms and my uncle who is a mechanic informed me that it sounds like a designer fault and that i should ring vw head office and see if they will replace it. any suggestions???? my brothers nissan skyline had to replace engine mounts at 300 000kms sounds dodgy even to me....
The rear control arm bushes are a very common problem, and for most people these are absolutely gooooone by 20-25k on the clock.
Seeing you're in Brisbane, hit up Jmac (PM him) and he will be able to sort you out with a set of upgraded bushes for a great price (it's where I got mine done)
