Problem: passenger window is making grinding noises when going down.
    Fix: Ordered a new regulator

Problem: lock cover on the inside passenger door as slightly popped and isnt sitting flush with the door panel.
Fix: A new one has been ordered.

Both are being ordered in and will be done under warranty work. Will update when the car is booked in and fixed..

Other than that everything else is perfect
Update on the lock cover, it has popped up again. I took it into VW Liverpool yesterday and a new one again has been ordered in. The service guy said the lock cover is completely warped.

Hopefully it wont happed again otherwise it must be something internal that is causing the cover to warp..

yup - cos it stops the lock from popping through and sometimes i cant get the passenger side door to open. It sometimes takes 5 or 6 attempts to get it open. its freaking annoying, especially in the rain when your trying to let the passenger in but the door wont open..

plus the fact if i left it unfixed - my dad would crack it saying - i told you so, why did you buy that polo, its nothing but problems, you havnt even had it for half a year and its already falling apart. LOL i do this to keep my dad happy and to stop him nagging..

    Mine is the same.

It'll be due for the 12month service soon so might get them to look at it then as its not worth a special trip given it hasn't given me any grief.

Just a couple of little niggly things

    1. Cup holder in dash is stuck and wont pop out

FIX: dealer has ordered a new one ($280!)

    2. Sometimes its hard to get out of reverse.

FIX: workshop has adjusted linkage didn't help much will replace gearbox oil when they do cup holder.

Otherwise great little car. having to keep finding excuses to drive it
