and re the voucher, sounds fine to me though as I said I wasn't expecting anything by sending her to see you, so really, don't go to any trouble mate.

Problem: passenger window is making grinding noises when going down.
    Fix: Ordered a new regulator

Problem: lock cover on the inside passenger door as slightly popped and isnt sitting flush with the door panel.
Fix: A new one has been ordered.

Both are being ordered in and will be done under warranty work. Will update when the car is booked in and fixed..

Other than that everything else is perfect

Usage: Daily, parked on the street.

    Problem: Recurrant powersteering failure.
    Fixes so far:
    - New Battery
    - New Alternator

It's not throwing any fault codes, and yet within 15minutes of startup, the powersteering light will come on and the steering becomes hard. It's currently in the service department for the week. I will update with their findings. I have suggested replacing the PS pump but they seem reluctant.

The Polo's have don't have a hydraulic power steering system like a Commodore/Falcon, instead they use an electric motor for power assistance. Your fault may be in the Power Steering Motor itself.

Problem: Bits (maybe a 1cm x 5mm area) of paint missing under tailgate.
Fix: Got the touch up paint now, yet to apply.

I've had my power steering fail twice on me while driving in the year I've had my polo (first time was march last year as I was driving out of the dealership on delivery, second time was the week before christmas). The second time took the car to the dealer and they found that the steering wheel angle sensor had an intermittent ground connection fault which they believe (but couldn't guarantee) caused the problem.

    Hasn't happened since then though.
