Is my gearbox about to fall apart?? My gear changes feel the same as before, but these noises have just started

Hmmm - see my thread - sort of the same but mine is REALLY bad

    Make: polo GTI
    Year: 2008
    Km's: 5500

Problem, after about 1500km noticed an oil leak underneath. Into the dealership it went..after 7 days they decided it was a turbo seal and (apparently) installed a new turbo.
Didn't check it for about 6 months (silly me assumed problem was fixed), found oil leak underneath in same spot. Dealership had it for 5 days...another new turbo put on (wtf!!).
When questioned they said it was a sealed unit and if the particular seal that is causing the problem goes, it's a whole new turbo required...but according to the service advisor they had never seen it in a polo gti before So, I've now had 2 new turbo's in a car less than 6000kms old...let's hope this is problem solved.

Dude, I know. I couldn't believe it when they told me it was the same problem the second time. Seems to me that if it was the turbo (twice), then there was a faulty batch of turbos produced (who makes our turbos anyway?) then VW should be issuing a recall. The problem is I am not good at being an assh0le. I should have demanded to speak to the service manager and got a straight answer!

So far so good though. Put some white paper down in the carport and no oil since i've had it back.
