I've always thought that the std wheels are fairly awesome, but geez flaps, you've really taken the pog to the next level with those wheels. What are the wheel specs, and what did it all cost all up?

You'll see them around on OzAudi and eBay very occasionally. In the meantime, there's these...at 7.5" wide, maybe a tad OTT

I wanted to get some Golf GTI rims and have them painted but they don't fit . So I went with the TT rims after seeing a pic of one in the UK.

Wheels are 17" width is 7 or 7.5. They came with 225/45's that scrubbed with the stock suspension. So I got new tyres (205/40/17) and now its basically the same rolling diameter as stock to 0.8%.

I got mine on the Vortex and legend had them painted for me. Cost just over $1K.

Edit - The offset is a little different to the stock rims so I get some scrubbing on the front. Car is only lowered 25mm all round.

you got to be kidding? GTI's are meant to be 'sporty', not resemble 4 door family cars
