Polo looks a little too skinny... Wheel arch flares?

I've seen it mentioned before in other threads, and it's one of the very few things that I don't like about my Polo... It looks too damn skinny!

Has anyone considered making/modding something like this in order to fatten their Polo a little:

Just keen to see people's opinions...

Polo looks nice with a low stance and fat wheels to even it out. Ive never seen an aftermarket flare kit that l really liked

    what Timmeh said.

When you get a bit of poke and tuck happening the polo's arse fattens out a bit aftermarket flare kits look tacky and $hit

apart from the odd thing like wing mirror covers, cupra lip, etc, no one has really done it, other than one guy with his polo gti cup edition body kit, which was like $5,000 landed before fitting/ painting, or something like that? either way, it was a lot of $$$.

as tim and josh said, lowered with low offset wheels/ spacers, it'll do wonders for the car.
