    POLO GTI is Vibrating/Rattling/Twitching???? Why????

noticed the car started rattling regardless of how fast or slow i was travelling. and it can be felt from the front right through to the rear passengers. i let the car roll and let go the steering wheel and the steering wheel constantly twitches/ little jerks to the left.
Opened the bonnet, no obvious vibrating besides from the engine.

Anyone ever experienced this too? or know what or where it might be comming from? if all comes to worse ill jsut bring it into VW and get it checked out. but i thought i might run it through here first.
    Thanks in advance!

    How many kms mate?

Sounds like a suspension issue, but exactly what is hard to say...

Rattling, could be a lot of things. My Polo is a noisy bugger.

As for being able to feel it, I would be looking at the suspension assembly, especially on the Left side.

It could be that a balancing weight on one of the wheels has fallen off.

Still, I'd be sticking my head underneath and shaking suspension components around to see if there is any movement in the left front side.

If it's new and within warranty, just take it in. Don't waste time checking out, you have warranty for a reason.

As you mentioned you let the car roll (assume not in gear?) and it still happens. If its doing it in Neutral, its not the engine (well, not likely).

I look at the c/v joints, check boots to see if one is ripped. Does it sound noisier under acceleration?

tyre popped tonight whilst driving. could this be related to the rattles in the car and steering wheel twitching always to the left??

your might have hit a pothole or something that had weakened the tyre causing like a blister, which would cause the vibration and subsequent tyre blowout. would be getting the other tyres checked out in case it was a manufacturing fault.
