Completely as far as I am aware.
I should have said 288mm rotors.

Does anyone know if the front hubs and carriers from MkIV Golfs with 288mm brakes are the same as those used on the 9N3 GTi?

The polo 9N uses Generation 2 hub bearings and reqs special tools to fit, the hub and bearing come together as one unit., local VW dealer didnt even have it, they borrow it from HQ in Sydney, so i made one to do the job, the tool price is through the roof, if i see more then ill buy the tool but till then ill use what i have. Hub carrier , crazy , would have done no harm keeping the old set up but well not much we can do there. Hub carrier is very similar to the Mk4 , havent tried , havent had to . Hmm

So would this kit for the MkIV Golf work for a Polo?

As mentioned never have had the need to fit one, ive done replcement Gen 2 bearings. before saying yes to that one would need to try it with some old bits, but like i say never had to do it, they "look " similar .

Thanks Jimmy. I guess it's safest to watch for another wrecked GTI.
