    polo gti finally getting fixed!!

    sup all,

happy days are here... sad days are gone...

so took my cabbie in for service and chekup at hatfiel bryanston, service was awesome as usuall and no error codes being thrown out..

told them about my clutch slipping intermittently, they took the cabbie for a spin and then checked under the car and noticed some oil leaking between the gerbox and engine, they said i should take it back to Hyde Park as they fixed my grind issue and maybe assembly was not done properly...

so took it back to them this morning after a few calls, they took it for a spinn and said that the clutch was slipping in all gears beyond its glory!!!!

i was totally confused as i never noticed it slipping in all gears all the time, explained to me that when giving it stick and changing at high revs. revs was holding. ( i thought it was turbo lag silly me! )

anyway looks like an oil seal popped on engine side driveline somewhere and oil got on the clutch and stuffed it up ( so hyde park did not stuff it up ), and looks like it was always that way from purchase as the car always felt the same to this day .

anyhoo all is being done under warranty and im guessing when i get it back its gonna b a totally different ride! and gonna feel like a little beast, as ive been driveing around with a stuffed clutch sinced i bought it probally

i cant wait till i get her back

Awesome service from both Hatfield and Hyde Park, really appreciate all the help guys

so the finall question on my mind, should i Sh** on the dealership that i bought the car from? ( none of the above mentioned dealership )

New car? Dealer wouldn't have touched it, or really been expected to notice it imo. Just bad luck from factory i guess.
