Have been quoted $390, $332 & $340 so where can I go to get it for a sensible price? Do I have to go to Ultratune or somewhere like that?

How can it cost $225? Was that through VW?

I paid $280 through VW and that was while supplying my own oil.

If you want cheaper mechanics, let us know where you live. If not using VW I would stick to a euro mechanic, but thats just me. If you live near Western Sydney then Seb at Girraween is your man. Don't have his details on me though.

try essendon vw - shoudl be around the same price 10 mins from the city, may pay a little bit more but at least no hassles with warranty.. Also a carwash thrown in and free oil top ups if required anytime.

Ended up paying $363 which included $30 for a puncture repair. TIP: If your in Melbourne DO NOT use Werribee Volkswagen in Hoppers Crossing (spread the word), their service was absolutely appalling & they kept 'bullshi**ing me'
