Here is some links to photos of 2 different system installs on the Polo.

These forums are in German so you wont understand anything (unless you speak German) but the photos will give you some ideas. There are some interesting pics on that site, finding them is a pain in the a$$ when you dont speak German.

haha....yeah i'm getting yahoo china too. the only photos i see is the back of a lady and a close up photo of the beijing olympic stadium (oh, and a whole bunch of lines that look like haystacks i.e. chinese writing).

as cool as the stadium is, i don't think it will fit in the polo and play music.

P.S. can anyone figure out the photo at the bottom of the page, second from the right?? it looks like a guy pleasing himself

Whats funny is that this person basically did what I previously did in my Polo. Pity the only thing that's left in the vehicle are the front splits and the Dynamat and sound deadening foam in the door trims. I will post up photos if anyone wants to explore the possibilities of audio setups in a Polo (PS - my previous setup has won in legitimate car audio sound quality competitions).

The vehicle has almost he perfect dynamics for high quality car audio setup by starting at the tweeter position. However, it could be higher, but not too bad for the basis of the sound stage.

Mid-range drivers in the doors allow the car to create a dramatic amount of mid-range bass. Furthermore, depending on what speakers you were running, almost flawless midrange purity was achievable.

Hatch provides a perfect surface for the slow frequencies to be redirected to the front of the vehicle.

I worked out it's made by a German company and it's 635 or 1169 EUR depending on which sub you get it with. I believe they make it custom for your car? They might do it separately.

Seriously, if you're keen, DIY it. Not worth the serious cash you'd be spending to get it and freighted here as shipping from Europe isnt cheap.

Buggered if I know why I'm going to yahoo china...

Does anyone else here think the Polo stock splits are pretty schmick? Thy seriously give a lot of mid range splits a run for their money. I reckon, run of a decent head unit, maybe being fed a little more power from a good amp and they'd be sing pretty damn loud and clear.
