Sam, notice how your peak begins to drop off around 5300rpm, ..that's pretty common, as boost begins to cut-off. A high-flow muffler would give you more slighty more power, and would hold power longer, bc when the exhaust is running at those speeds, the stock muffler will begin to choke flow. That's what my testing confirmed as well. How this translates on the road (I mean track ) ...with the stock muffler, your car will slow down at 160kmh, with a high-flow, it will pull strong to 200kmh.

Quite right Neil, ... I saw Eddy's and it doesn't dip at the 5,500 mark.

Eddy's actually seems to dip more at 5500rpm but then it goes up again and drops again.

Blue is 'stage 1' and red is 'stage 2'

    Maybe backyard bandit (Jason).

But his dumped fuel in like it was a Veyron - without the other benefits

I wouldn't read too much into that dip, Polo GTIs are notorious for doing that on dynos. His car still manages to maintain peak power at 6000rpm...
