I have to say you are very used to vibrators or lost vibration sensation - not to notice any 'extra' vibration with air conditioning on. That was the first thing I noted. Only noticeable sitting at traffic lights.

It's worse if you have a lightened flywheel.

Yeah, mine had horrible vibration with the mount, but with the GIAC tune I had it never really liked idling all that much (although I wasn't complaining with 21.5psi on tap with that tune )

I got my Dogbone mount installed on the weekend. I use my car polo for business use and i must say that the vibration with the AC on is that bad i am thinking of going back to the stock mount. Sure the shifting of gears is nicer and the power seems to be delivered alot smoother to the front wheels, but damn..i feel as though my dash is going to fall apart and it will do more long term damage in terms of resale of the car than good. That's just my 2 cents though, as as the saying goes "different strokes for different folks".

Maybe there's an imbalance in the aircon compressor???

Hmm mine once installed didn't make much of a difference to vibration. Well at least no where near what the guys are reporting here. At most maybe a little tiny bit more noticeable with aircon on initially but smoothens out and can't feel any difference.Maybe I'm the luckier ones.

I replaced my dog bone temporarily with our local Polo Cup spec one my team mate lent me, which is a poly bushed unit, 90 shore, whilst I had mine done. I poly bushed my dog bone with 70 shore, being a daily drive as well as a TDI.

I must admit, I really did like the 90 shore unit, but it would've been a little too much for daily use probably, as well as having the occasional passenger or long distance trip. I'm incredibly happy with my 70 shore unit and I honestly don't notice it one bit!
