Has anyone had any good experiences with the aftermarket arm rest??

    Came across these on ebay

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/VW-9N...Q5fAccessories

Are they they same cheap, nasty ones as already discussed? Armrest would be good but if it's gonna be a nuisance then prob not worth the effort.. $12 for the item but $60 for shipping!?

    Cheers

no to guide away from buying one but wont most of these restrict your ability to pull back the hand brake?

I'd say it would have some form of hinge that allows you to pull the armrest up into a vertical position between the 2 front seats, which would free up access to the hand break.
Well that's been my experience in other cars with arm rests.

yeah you'll still be able to use the handbrake fine the arm rest just swings up, only thing for me is that the plastic doesn't match the rest of the interior
