I have read tons of posts on then internet and i cant seem to figure out a solution. So therefore i am creating this post.
I am installing a subwoofer and need and amp cable routed from the right side of the car out to the battery. (LHD)
I have the amp cable at the passenger seat now and i have read that there should be a grommet on the right side just as there is on the left side for the engine hatch release cable. Ive found that.
Is this the best solution?
The question is where does the cable come out inside the car.
I have done the long way you mentioned in the other post. It's a hopeless method that takes too long for what is worth.
Behind ABS pump there is a grommet that runs into the cabin to bring in a air conditioning wire.
Inside the cabin, in the footwell. You will see this grommet. Punch a hole and push the cable through.
Reach behind the ABS pump and pull it the way you want.
5 minute job, sorry to burry your idea; even though that is the nicer OEM looking method!
