Polo 9N3 ABS speed differential error

I did a PD130 brake conversion on my PD100 Polo over the festive season.

Had to replace hub carriers complete with hubs, bearings, calipers and disks.
Bought second hand parts of which the one hub carrier turned out to be slightly bent, so had to buy another hub carrier.

    Everything went together nicely.

Only problem now is that I get a speed differential error on the ABS module, which throws an engine light, switches off power steering and dash instrumentation.

Did some diagnostics with VagCom and found that the left wheel speed sensor pickup a higher speed than they other 3 wheels, thus causing the ABS module to throw the speed differential error.

What I have noticed is that the left front wheel bearing and hub has been replaced recently. Thus the magnetic speed trigger strip on the bearing might be sending more pulses than the rest of the wheels.

Does anyone know if the speed sensors can be calibrated to read the same through VagCom?

If I need to replace the wheel bearing how could I tell before installing it that the magnetic speed trigger strip on the bearing will match the rest of the car?

The only thing I can think that would cause a speed difference is the distance between the hub and the sensor. You'll need to measure each side and check where the problem is.

Each hub has a strip on it which is read by the sensor to determine the rotation speed.
