Polo 9n SE front brakes - pls help

    Hi all,

i am brand new here and just have a quick question,
my girlfriend has a 2002 polo SE and i have bought new front pads the polo,

when i jacked the car up i noticed that there is no standard bolts holding the caliper in, it looks like a hex allen key type, is this right ? and what size fitment key do i need?

oh we have her looking good with sharkfin antenna etc

    oh and i have a lowered 76 2L kombi...

    any help would be awesome

    thanks heaps

    I "think" its a 7mm allen key.

Measure it & get one at the local tool store. They are real tight, so even look at a 1/2 inch socket version to get some extra leverage.

    (try a 6mm & 8mm which are more common - can't remember for sure)

    good luck!

Guy you are right mate its 7mm and please dont use air tools. I have seen threads come out with bolts which is very unpleasant.
