Tbh, my engine is not one that is commonly tuned. The guy I bought them from, had them for sale for a long time. There is no market for them, so I managed to get them in a low price. New they cost 410 euros each. They have worked for 7000kms of road use, so they are almost new. I would like a dbilas 252/10 set better, but there is nothing for sale on the market. Schricks will do the job just fine, in conjuction with the better intake manifold and the bigger throttle body.

My main problem holding me back to finish the car is my limited free time.

A small update, due to lack of time recently.

I installed the renault megane throttle body. The external diameter seems same and all, but you can see that the renault tb isn't tappered on the butterfly level. This results in a 5mm larger butterfly.
Upper one is the stock, lower is renault.

Here is a small vid from the car right now, unfortunately not mapped/cammed yet.

Mate your video didn't show up. Is it on you tube in which case you can provide a link? I'd love to see it. Ive always wondered about an NA in our body.

Weird. It's on youtube yes, it's an external video of the car though.

I really don't know. It needs to get remapped to have a clear image. This weekend I will install the aftermarket intake manifold along with a bmc cda airbox. One step closer to the target.

    Update after a long time.

I installed the schrick camshafts and car is remapped now. Apparently they are not the cams I expected, they most likely are 244 degrees and 9mm lift. Idle is very stable at 700rpm and generally I didn't feel quite the change compared to stock cams. Of course it's there, but not what I expected.

I decided to skip the aftermarket intake manifold I bought, because after a closer inspection I didn't like some parts of it. So I will try to find another one which has been tested and proven.

Remap transformed the car. Car is running 7k rpm revlimit and more timing advance. Unfortunately I'm still running the stock injectors which are maxxed out and car runs lean sometimes(I've seen up to 14.8 afr at 6k rpm and higher). This leads to quite big ignition retard, which will be rectified after I install the bigger injectors I have. Unfortunately they have different connectors, so I have to do some work.

Either way I'm very happy with the car and I'm still halfway. Need to be done:
    1) Better cams
    2) Aftermarket intake manifold
    3) Finalize the map on the dyno
