what do you mean underdampened, that mean a bit bouncy???

If thats what underdampened then generally the cars ride is quite compliant, but it gets slightly bumpy over horrible roads.

Handles beautifully though.

And yes !!! the leather seats are gorgeous

I have the eibachs with the standard dampers also, and i don't think its underdamped at all, really doesn't feel all that different to stock in that regard, just a bit tighter. Obviosuly bumps and potholes get picked up more, but i think its worth it. Handling is improved with the increased grip given.

I was originally going to save up to get new dampers to go with them, but now i think its not necessay unless i was to go to a new firmer or lower spring...time will tell if my thoughts on the stock shocks are accurate however.

O thats sweet a much cheaper way out then shox and springs with better handeling .
On the mk4 golf if u just used springs it was just like a pogo stick and was a nasty ride.

I'm a setup n00b (I always have to have help with my setups in my online LFS racing..).

What would be the best way of improving the "crashing" feeling you get currently when driving over rough roads, whilst at the same time keeping things reasonably firm? Is this at all possible?

My Euro is maybe a tad bit softer yet chassis is so firm I feel its handling (Wheels found the Euro to be a really good handler in last year's handling shootout) is several steps up from the Polo. Of course it's a completely different car, but I wouldn't mind closing the gap a bit.

My Mk4 was absolutely evil with Eibachs and standard shocks! I have only been carsick once and that was in my bouncy golf. Fixed it with Konis.
