Correct me if i am wrong but wouldn't a stage 1 tune give a similar amount of power whilst still being FWD?

Pretty sure that engine has a bout 170-180kw standard. Stage 1 tune in the Polo gives about 155kw?

Ahh, right you are, i was thinking of the 2.0T, not the 1.8T
Still plautos has done some fierce mods on his and still gets it around the track.

Agreed, the 3.2 would be simpler and would sound unreal from the pogo.
My comments were in reference to the need for AWD with that much power when it has been shown that you can still utilise the power with FWD.
