    Hi,

Sorry for late reply as I was bugged with lots of work at the office. The car is now running a little bit better after iron out wiring issues causing 6 sensors to caused CEL. Still waiting for FT specific map file from Unitronic (coming to 3 weeks now)...

I might end up with run-of-the-mil Stg2+ map file by next week if there's still no news ...

Be pretty careful running non-specific maps. I know my own Polo runs away big time. Not too worried with it having rods but you would be advised to maybe to run with the N75 disconnected as a small concession to insurance, until it gets a real map and some logging.

Fully agree. Since the stg2+ remap meant for K04-015, do you think it'll be that bad for FT21 (newer F4T) turbo?

    Same MAF, injectors, etc?

Seems like they are just as important if not more important than dealing with the nuances of boost.

I'm running on 3" MAF and 415cc injectors (alternative option would be 380cc injectors with 4 bar FPR)...

The map needs to be scaled for the big MAF, or it'll run weak as hell. I would run bigger injectors and 3 BAR over the 4 BAR, personally. Don't forget that as the boost increases, fuel pressure rises to compensate. So eventually it'll be supplying 5.5BAR which would be 1.5 over what VW intended for the stock pump.

We won't tune without an S3/uprated fuel pump onboard. Besides the risk of blowups, it can waste lots of time tuning while you work out why it's always lean.

USRT do a Genesis drop in that isn't quite a drop in but works fine.

APR use a 4 BAR and std pump with their K04 but the majority of those I imagine, would have been on fairly new cars. There would have to be a point where the pump begins to degrade. I won't be looking to find that point

    Gavin,

Now you've made me realized that I've been abandoning the importance of fuel pump. Could you share the link of that Genesis fuel pump? Thanks.
