    Pissed Off.

    As some of you know i just brought a new tdi...

    IM HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE ****ING THING ALREADY!!!

    The steering is pulling to the left and it vibrates when driving on the freeway...

    For ****s sake its brand ****ing new and it does this, And iv had it only a few days!!

    Hmm my first volkswagen and im not impressed!

    Also, How many kms should a brand new car have on it?

    sounds like a wheel alignment/wheel balance problem. Nothing to be too concerned about.

    Its brand new.. How the **** could it need a wheel alignment already?

    AND my esp wont turn on and off an extra grand and for what!?

    Sounds like the dealer needs to do a wheel alignment for you. Obviously it should be correct from day one but could have been overlooked You haven't had any car park knocks yet (ie kerbs)? Check the tyre pressures are correct too (when they're cold)... Frustrating I bet but don't stress too much!

    Edit: Woah, quick on the replies here guys! Hahah. ESP... random thoughts, could the system have a minimum run-in km before it can be deactivated etc as a safety precaution? Gotta be stationary for it to be deactivated?

    Seriously iv only driven it twice prob half hour each way...

    Hasnt been in a car park yet.

    Yeah but the esp thing too... Im dissapointed

    Did the dealer explain how to use the system when you got the car? They're supposed to give you a complete run through if it's a brand new purchase.... Call them on Monday.

    My car had 20something kms on it from memory.

    Sorry to hear it. But these things happen - my old man never missed an opportunity to tell us why he holds a grudge against Ford as the new Escort he bought had an oil leak straight out of the yard.....
