Yes the KMAC's were very stiff and had alot less body roll than standard but it was too bouncy and un stable if you were going fast around corners.

I have lowered all of my previous cars with a minimum of a 3" drop all with standard shocks and they have been fine.

The H&R's are a great ride with very little body roll and smooth ride

thanks Flaps. I've got a set of H&R's on order. If they scrub I might have to go with eibachs or something adjustable. But I think Neil's S3 rims are the same offset as the TT rims? So I should be safe.

A friend of a friend kinda story but I've heard good things about that website. He purchased a lot of gear for his MKV GTI with no hassels.

It doesn't say that they ship to Australia, only Europe. If they do ship to Australia, what are their charges (can't be cheap I'd imagine).

man, that looks really nice- perfect, in my opinion.

im just wondering- does anyone have any experience with oem shock life with oem springs vs lowered springs?

also, anyone got any ideas how how much it costs to replace oem shocks?

marco polo, how many km's did you run lowering springs with oem shocks- did you have any problems?
