It's all about how you market it...
Don't call it 'unsafe', call it 'active feedback' or something.
Hi there,
Pretty urgent as we are going away to the mountains tonight, the bloody passenger seat (Polo GTI Leather) won't lock into place so it moves forward and back indescriminately.
I took down the back seats as usual last night to get a suitcase in but in doing so I seem to have done something to the seat...
Amyone any ideas on how the get the handle to 'lock in' again. Will have to take it to a dealer at lunch if I can't fix it. Very unsafe for the girlfriend at the moment!
Cheers
S

FOR SALE
"VW GTI" QLD Prestige Plate
1. Put the back seat back up to the normal position.
2. Slide passenger seat back all the way until it locks back in.
3. Move passenger seat all the way forward using the lever at the front (not the one that flips the seat forward).
4. Put back seat back how you want it .. lowered.
5. Adjust passenger seat ... it should stay locked in.
I had this problem the other week, I put the back seat flat and the Mrs moved the passenger seat forward using the "flip" (don't know what you call it) lever that flips the seat to allow access to the rear seats. We then couldn't get the front seat to "lock" into position .. just slid aboutI think it was because it couldn't return to the original spot. I fixed it by doing the above.
Good luck .. hope it is that simple !!
OK just printed that and off to the car park to try it! Thanks!!
