    options for exhaust

    Hi All,
Just wondering if there is a way of getting a bit more of a sportier, throaty type of note without having to change to another exhaust sytem,I am worried if I was to fit a new system it would affect my warrenty(I have an 08 model GTI).Is there anything I can have done at an exhaust place to achieve this note, while retaining the stock exhaust and not affecting the warranty.
I can here a slight sporty burble at times with my GTI which sounds nice, just want it a bit louder.

Take the middle muffler / resinator out.

Or get an exhaust shop to modifiy the rear muffler.

The middle muffler doesn't exist on the newer models.

Measure the length of your muffler, cut a section of pipe that long and find a friend with an angle grinder and a Mig/Tig welder.

.... I'm actually considering that now.... hmmm.

Think I may just go down the new muffler road.Anybody got any advice in this area, brands to look for etc. And would it be just swapping mufflers over?

Hi-Tech stainless mufflers have a great sound. But you have to find one that matches the size/shape of the stock one. the Polo stock fairly round, most companies make oval mufflers, but i'm sure you'll find something.

PM'd you a vid of my old car with a hi-tech.
