Thats exactly right mate the roads were super greasy the otherday after the first decent rain in a very long time. It didn't take me too much effort to spin my wheels either! And that was with my stock dunlops which are normally incredible in the dry.

first bit of rain after some dry time can be scarry. The other week was coming back home and it started raining and i was going through a round about at a speed im ususally comfortable in doing but this time it was different and that was with the continentals with quite a bit of tread to go. It reminded me of driving on an icy road with summer tires

Are the Marangoni Zeta's a directional tyre?

ie - can they only be rotated front to back?

(apoligies in advance for dumb question...own car/mechanical knowledge FAIL)

Yep ... mono-directional (front / back rotation only).

I drive the car hard. Everywhere. Anyone that knows me can confirm my driving. ha.

I laugh when you guys get 10000 out of tyres. And i have no idea why? Id even place money that my car has had a harder life then everyone on here.

Kai, what did you pay for your Advans and where?

Hmmm - I need tyres - yet another Cont has developed a bubble (I think i ran over a Mintie wrapper) but the rears are past their last legs and fronts have around another 10,000 in them (MUST watch your rotations people!!!) - still 45,000 isnt bad but they are SO weak. So many punctures and bubbles.

Advans (which I REALLY like - when I test drove the Mitsui Colt Turbo you could feel how good they were) or Marangoni for price and good feedback.

Did you get those from Tyrepower? I called my local one up yesterday, and they told me that the F1's weren't included in the 4 for 3 deal.

Maybe i should call a proper Goodyear Tyre and Auto....
