i think it all boils down to this:

however agreeable we find each other, and however well we may get along with one another both on and off the forums, and however willing we are to help each other out as a result of some sort of communal sentiment, on the whole, as a group, from the outside looking in, we're probably a real bunch of pricks.

The Scangauge is adjustable as a percentage (%) of the speed shown on the car dial. It adjusts either positive or negative. I used a GPS unit, while on cruise control at around 110kms/h, to adjust the Scangauge.

If you simply just plug it in, the speed on the Scangauge will be the same as that on the car dial until you adjust it.

and yes like what "celestine" said, scangauge II is awesome, had them when i used to drive the Toyota Echo, so accurate as well, and also tells you how many horsepower/kilowatt your car is producing in real time

best of all, you can use it up to 10 different cars and all the settings will get stored into the scangauge memory.
you used to use it with a toyota echo?,........can i ask why?
