    November 2006 Motor magazine test

I open up a copy of the latest edition of Motor magazine and see that the Polo GTI is included in the "Bang For Your Bucks" test.

The Polo comes second to the Ralliart Colt which didn't impress me much!

On reading the article I noticed that the Colt is $3000 dollars more expensive.

For that money you can have the Polo's ECU remapped or chipped and still have money left over!

I wonder which car would have the best 'Bang For Your Buck' then.

Plus the Colt is so ugly!!

What was the best result for bang for your buck then?

I considered the Ralliart Colt when looking for a new car and yes it is very ugly! Good engine but sheesh the looks really put me off.

Glad I went with the Polo GTI!

My mates has a colt and its poo lol not very nice at all would not be paying 30k for it. The polo owns it with the APR upgared and the concept of a 1.5L turbo and with the vaule timming change only occuring on the exhaust side not really worth it. My guess is you are paying for the evo VII seats and the gear box but each to there own i think the polo with the upgrade would just blow the socks off of it i dout you can get that type of power up garde in the colt yet.
