Glad you're liking it mate. Re the power loss in summer. With the high torque kick of the stage II tune that feeling is minimized considerably, although not completely exempt unfortunately.

I don't recall feeling mine suffer during summer. However, most of my driving is commuting early mornings, late nights or slowly in highway traffic. It was certainly running mental last night with 10 degree ambient

Well, I've been much less active here in the past 6-12 months. I'm slowly looking to upgrade / move on.

Its going to be very hard to find something 'better', the Polo is still so much fun.

If there are any lurkers looking for a modded Polo in Sydney (well, could be anywhere really) and planning a turbo upgrade, let me know. My toy has a lot of good mods for a future bigger turbo, something I never got around to...

I guess its the way of all cars, but I'm not expecting much over 10K for my toy with <56k kms on it. Guess that does not change that its almost 8 years old.

Good to see some new names / faces and new enthusiasm around, the Polo isn't the most popular car around, but it has shocked a few bigger cars in its time.

I bought an S3 in December, it had some issues, but the price was right. The Polo went a few weeks later.

After some patient saving and slow planning the S3 was finally fixed of its unknown issues and tuned. With a dump pipe it made a healthy 180+ kw and 350+ nm atw. The torque of the 2.0 TFSI and K04 is brutal with the exhaust opened.

I will be installing KW V2's soon, this was not the initial plan, but the stock S3 has nothing on the Polo i sold in terms of cornering.

It looks like i'll be dropping a bit more coin than I'd thought on the outset, but should be nice in a few months with the Stage 2+ setup and KW's.

I loved my time with the Polo, the S3 is proving to be a very worthy upgrade.

Seems like Polo to S3 is a logical upgrade path as I bought S3 in February as well haha! ..and I have to agree, it's a worthy upgrade from the Polo
