    Non GTI power steering remap

    Happy New years

I have heard that the polo GTI has a remapped steering to deliver more precise steering.

    Firstly, Is this true?

Secondly, If so, can non GTI polo's get a remap done, where abouts and a rough cost?

    Thanks,

Hope this thread helps with others with non GTI polo's

There are 3 steering types. I'm fairly sure it's just a VAGCOM setting, so ask someone with VAGCOM - only takes a few seconds so a dealer would charge out the ass for nothing

Sounds great, is there a noticeable difference between GTI and non-gti steering for those who have driven both?

Deffs have to ask about it at next service cost wise, or id be happy to pay a bit for anyone on the brisbane cruise to have a crack at it if they got a VAGCOM

You won't want any other steering than the GTI setting.

i drove on the soft setting and nearly killed myself.

There is quite a large difference that you dont expect.

Kinda didnt realise how heavy the steering was until i played with it. :|
