Newbie questions - help

Hey,

was wondering if anyone could help me, I just bought an 02' polo SE on the weekend and i'm trying to work out what things are!!
there is a button in the back seat on the driver's side just near the middle pillar, it has like a sound wave looking symbol on it and when a press it it lights up orange then yellow
does anyone know what this does???
Also are there just two speakers in the front and two tweeters in the front also, i swapped my stereo over and couldn't figure out what all the extra wires were for!

this is a large adjustment from my V6 commodore!

The button is part of the in car monitoring feature of the alarm.
You press it prior to locking the car and any movement inside will not set off the alarm. Eg if you want to leave your dog or a child or want to lock the car with the windows down.

no idea about the speakers...

If you're looking for the OEM items that will match the carpet perfectly - your best bet will probably be to go to your local dealership. They WILL, however, charge through the nose for them - I'm not sure what the going rate is, but they're likely to be rather pricey for what are essentially quite small mats.

A trip to your local Autobarn/Super Cheap Auto might yield mats that you like at a fraction of the cost - I'm not sure if they'll be perfectly cut to shape and/or fit in the screws that hold the mats onto the floor perfectly like the OEM items will.
