    POLO camera mount

The other day i made a camera mount for my car out of a 20mm x 2omm x 400mm aluminium extrusion. It slids into the passenger seat head rest legs and sits in the middle of the car, i have then bolted the head of a tripod onto the end between the seats works a treat. Not sure how it would go through scrutineering tho what do you guys think i have more parts and can make more up if any one is keen. Ill post some pics soon.

CAMS have specific regirements for competing with camera mounts. I always ran a camera from the diagonal crossbrace in Gunter. Got some awesome footage, more so from the road rallies. Britchies notes came through very clearly apart from when he dropped em!!!

    Hey Rob,

looks good - I have a similar one out of the US.

Cams have a "camera box" specific mounting mainly because no matter how strong the bracket - the little thread in the bottom of the camera is the weakest point! And as Mythbusters know, a box of tissues hitting you in the head at speed can kill you!

    nice work though!
