Looking great matt although the front looks a tad higher which is good I suppose as it is much easier to adjust.

    Now for the laptimes

So how is it comfort wise. Do find it bumpier or smoother? Or maybe bumpier at low speed but smoother at high speed?

Bumpy at crawling speeds but once you get going I cant really feel much, But I have mostly ever driven cars with coilovers so kinda hard for me to comment on the comfort.

So how different is it from the under-steering, under-sprung, under-dampened, body-rolling POS the stock TDI Polo is with the suspension work?

PS - I love the GTI looking red bit you've put on your front grille.

    Bilsteins

I have a '06 Polo TDI with Bilstein B14 coilovers in it. Totally transformed the car. The coilovers are a little harsh and bumpy at low speeds, but out on the open road the car is awesome. Bumps are soaked up, corners flat etc etc.

I was motivated to change the suspension after taking the Polo for its first ride on the open road (as opposed to Aussie freeways). Felt as though it just about failed to take a corner at 100 kph. Certainly not confidence inspiring.

I think that the ride height on the TDI can never be as low as a GTI due to the taller diesel engine. Mine was lowered ~5cm from stock to give 105 mm clearance (was being a little conservative). No clearance issue so far...

My car still has the eco-tyres on it, and they will be replaced next...wife says I have to wait until the OEM tyres are worn.

    B.
