Wow - this pedal position looks really awkward.... I hope it's just a bad camera angle or something....

it's more that the accelerator looks too far to the right...
but again, could be the camera angle.

it looks a little too far right, but if think your right leg would rest against the centre console, the brake is straight ahead from your hip... Impossible to make any relevance from it since it's a left hand drive anyway.

The brake peddles on auto has always been big and the accelerator a little bit further back from the brake. More of a safety design. Better to hit the brake then to accidentally press the gas. But when on the RHD our leg will be leaning towards the door, more room for us really.

    2015 Mk7 Golf R Wolfsburg - Limestone Grey: Stage 2
Gone but not forgotten: 2008 Polo GTI Shadow Blue

Well - I hope that on the RHD cars that the accelerator is actually moved towards the left a bit more so that we're sitting more 'erognomically correct' - there's nothing worse than sitting in a car 'angled right' instead of forward or slightly left - but VW are pretty good with this, so I'm sure it'll be fine.

Even in the manual MKV Polo GTI has the brake and accelerator pedal quite a distance apart (in height, rather than width). I find it a little bit of a stretch to heel-toe in the Polo compared to all my previous cars.
