that's going to be one cracker of a car. might not have awesome 0-100 times but it'll slay rolling start/ in the hills.

Yes, the Polo GTI, Golf GTD, and Golf R were all confirmed at the same time

Golf R & GTD will be available around June/July, IIRC

Edit: Although I guess that could be just interior and exterior cosmetic similarities with the current GTI... I've not much interest in the GTD to be honest

Power/torque figures etc are similar to the GT TDI.

Aesthetic/cosmetic's and mechanicals (XDL) are similar to the mk6 GTI

The wheels appear to still be 5 x 100. Anyone know for sure?

Also, what's with the external wire clips on the front brake callipers? I notice that the new Golf gti has these too ...............
