New N75 valve: 06a906283e revised version

    Hi guys,

I am not sure how many of you experimented with different N75 valves... I was told by Revo a couple of years ago to try a different or new valve as my power and torque were fluctuating from around 4000-6000rpm. The curves were like small waves although I couldn't feel it myself. I forgot about it and today replaced with a new version of our factory N75.

Although its a replacement (not a different version but has new part number as per title) the car feels very different. It doesn't seem to boost as early as it used to but smoothly climbs up to the peak boost. I am going to take it out later this evening for a quick fang but car feels completely different. Not bad or good so far in traffic, I am sure this was fitted in correct orientation as it boosts to 24psi like it did before.

Anyone had an experience with the new N75?

Gone for a drive quickly - I am using Yokohama Advan A07 (superceded by A0 known as road legal semi-slicks.

Boost peak (on my gauge) is at 25psi on 3rd / 4th / 5th gear. Feels that the boost starts on come slightly later range of RPM and holds on quite well. Previous version that I had seems to come on with bit of surge and gets off steam.

With ESP off - I am wheel spinning all over the place with 2nd and 3rd on up hill.

I gave Forge 007p a quick light clean too (it was reasonably clean).

Hopefully there will be another chance to do another dyno at some stage....

I remember your tune always made a heap of boost and power but to overpower decent semi's like that is next level Must be cold over the pond too!

Hey guys - K03s still yes on 4bar FPR REVO Stage 2.
I think on Dyno it seems to read around 23psi on their computer. It's nice and cool here 12 degrees celcius - dry too.

I just put a shim with my yellow spring! Not sure to go to blue.

It makes very good torque. Feels gruntier than dad's F10 BMW 535d (600nm) - but I am sure it must be the light weight...

Yeah I was surprised at the amount of wheel spin (on going not just a chirp with 2nd gear) from about 3500rpm to 6000rpm... all the way through - I am not sure if it's due to the different distribution of boost.

It does feel slightly slower off boost for it to build than before though.

Reason for changing the N75 was from this dyno as per advice from Revo tech from UK.
Dyno result today - need advice for fluctuation at top.

It would be interesting to do a boost log with vcds/vagcom with the new valve.

Would be best to do before and after on the same day, to see what's different. Can overlay them on one graph.
