The wavelength of Red light on the spectrum is approx. 700 nanometres and the spectrum procedes thru to 400 nanometres (violet) ... covering approx. 430 - 750 Terahertz for the electromagnetic spectrum. Long wavelengths are slower than short wavelengths ... ergo Red is slower than White (or Blue ... ask Eddy).
