yet another Polo GTI owner.....lovin it!

well done mate, perfect choice of car is all i can say!

one thing i am happy about is that these little beauties have been out since early 06/late 05 (correct me if i'm wrong) and there still isn't a swarm of them on the roads. i suppose you have to have a good sense of style and class to buy one. i probably see a polo GTI every 3-5 days (and i really look out for them). i really appreciate that, i hope it means a good resale value for years to come.

I can go a month without seeing another Polo GTI - unlike its bigger brother which seems to be the car of choice in the CBD.

But they are becoming more common, seems like people are catching onto what a great car they are

I saw 3 (red, silver, blue and mine-black) in the same carpark as me the other night. Along with 4 Golf GTIs and about a million normal Golfs. Was in the ritzy part of Brisbane.

Mine was the best, only one with leather and 17s... silly standard ones

Yeah - Brisbane is full of VW's.

In traffic you can often have one behind you, a couple in front and a few either side.

Every day I see countless Golf GTI's, & standard Golfs, at least 2 or 3 R32's and quite a few lesser Polo's. A GTI probably every other day. Plus plenty of the other 'family' orientated models

I'm the only person in Darwin who owns a Polo GTI!! I have seen one other in the dealer lot, but I bought mine in Sydney.

I looked around for some second hand ones and demonstrator models before i ordered mine, there was hardly any around and i was was so impressed at the re-sale value! I am glad to know that in 3 years time my car will still be worth something, not like all the crappy australian built cars! My last car, i wont say what it was, cost me 45k onroad, and i sold it 2 years and 9 months old for 16k.. i thought i would be patriotic and buy aussie made..lol. i wont do that again!
